Why it works
Every relocation question has two answers: the official one (found in PDFs) and the real one (found at 6pm in a café). The real answers — the ones your move actually runs on — live in conversations. We built a room for those conversations, and keep them honest.
It’s not a “forum”. It’s a group you’ll actually open at 9am with a coffee, because the useful answer to your exact rent question arrived at 8:59.
How it works
Joining takes a tap. Participating is the fun part.
- Tap the link — The join link routes you into the group; pick a short intro name so people know who to help.
- Ask the un-Googleable — Rents, internet speeds, doctor names, “is this barrio okay?” — the questions that make a life actually work.
- Pass it on — Answer someone else next week. That’s the whole model: repaid kindness, at scale, with WiFi.
House rules
- People first — no spam, no dodgy “business opportunities”, no hate speech.
- Respect private info: don’t share anyone else’s contact without permission.
- Stay on the useful lane — moving, living, services and the occasional genuinely funny photo of a dog in a café.
- Buyers and sellers: referrals go to the Business Directory, where people are vetted.
- Admins enforce the above with a zero-warning policy for the first two. Three strikes is a pause; repeat is a goodbye.
